Hanwell Atkinson has been helping its clients make the right decisions for their credit insurance needs since 1997.
Independent and impartial, the company has built an excellent reputation as a specialist trade credit broker through its consistently high quality service.
As a Hanwell Atkinson client you will benefit from our knowledge and experience of the credit insurance market. The service that we provide acts as a natural adjunct to your credit management strategy, assisting you to choose the right insurance provider and policy type for your needs and then to help manage that policy effectively.
Hanwell Atkinson is committed to assisting you with the day to day running of your credit insurance policy. This service will include, where requested, the provision of training for new or existing members of staff, to help facilitate a thorough comprehension of your policy, especially its key administrative requirements.
Each year, we will contact you well in advance of the policy anniversary to review any changes that may have taken place within the course of the current policy period and to discuss your renewal requirements.

Duncan set up Hanwell Atkinson as a specialist independent brokerage in 1997 after spending the early part of his career with the Dun & Bradstreet Business Marketing Division, where he was the Southern England & London Regional Manager. He then spent 5 years at Atradius specialising in risk management and underwriting, before joining AON as a senior broker. This rounded off his transition from credit information to trade credit broking via credit insurance, giving perspective on all aspects within the industry.
As well as directing the company, Duncan’s role involves working closely with our customers on a national and global basis, providing risk management solutions. Hanwell Atkinson has been dealing with many of our clients for two decades now, but the credit insurance industry is dynamic with constant change and development. It has always been important for our service to evolve alongside the industry to ensure we offer our clients the best quality service for their businesses.
